This has to be the most awesome list. Very informative and insightful. There is another that you didn’t mention on your list. It’s an Energy Conservation program that’s free to join. They pay you to reduce your energy cost and currently 20.00 per referral that signs up and connects their smart meter. I’ve already earned cash and cashed out after only a week. The only drawback is that it’s only good for the state’s of Texas and California.
With long options, investors may lose 100% of funds invested. Multiple-leg options strategies will involve multiple commissions. Spread trading must be done in a margin account. Covered calls provide downside protection only to the extent of the premium received and limit upside potential to the strike price plus premium received. Writing uncovered options involves potentially unlimited risk.
PenFed (Pentagon Federal Credit Union) has the Promise Visa with no Fees, including no Foreign Transaction Fees. It works really well and has no annual fee, but you have to be a member or pay the 15$ entrance fee. I also take along an AmEx just in case I need their services. However, the last time I called to tell them I was leaving the country, AmEx told me I no longer had to inform them I would be using the card outside the country. I think I find this a little more disconcerting than convenient.
I would caution anyone using a capital one card for foreign travel…they may not charge a foreign transaction fee, but, if you need to access their investigative solutions for any financial disputes abroad, they are non-existent. We had an issue in Mexico that they have repeatedly avoided assisting us on. They use what should be considered exploitive customer service tactics for a service they tout as “protection abroad”.
If your ATM card is linked to the PLUS, Cirrus or Maestro networks, you have the option of using it to obtain cash virtually anywhere in the U.S. and in hundreds of countries worldwide. Each network has more than a million ATMs. The PLUS network is associated with Visa, so your Visa card will usually work at those ATMs. Likewise, the Cirrus and Maestro networks are associated with MasterCard, and so ATMs marked with these logos usually accept MasterCard for cash advances. The majority of ATMs accept cards from any of these major networks.
Axos Bank (formerly Bank of Internet USA) has a rewards checking account with no monthly fees, minimum balances or overdraft fees. You can earn up to 1.25% interest by meeting certain goals and can be reimbursed for an unlimited number of domestic ATM withdrawals. Foreign transaction fees apply. Free online bill pay, mobile deposit, and mobile banking are available.
By now we all know to look out for foreign transaction fees on the credit cards that we use while traveling abroad – no one likes paying a 3% premium simply to make everyday purchases just because you’re not doing so in the US. But what might slip your mind is whether or not your ATM card will charge you fees for withdrawing cash abroad, which can be equally if not more onerous than the fees credit cards charge. In fact, it can actually be two charges – a flat ATM use fee of $2-5, and a transaction fee that’s usually a percentage of 1-3% of the withdrawal. So you can really save by knowing what your bank charges.
There are plenty of companies offering part time or full time positions in various categories that you can look into. A part time position would be ideal for a college student, stay at home mom or even a young teen. Those looking for full time positions will also find that they have flexible hours allowing them to log in whenever they are ready.

Capitalone360.com checking also has 0 international atm fees and no fee for currency conversion. I opened an account and used it in hong kong, macau, and thailand in november and can confirm the no fees and good exchange rate. It also has no minimum. I had a similar problem with high dollar withdrawals in macau even though the amount was below the daily minimum? Perhaps has something to do with the country, or that it was a casino atm?
[…] Avoid the ATMs and money exchange houses at airports as they have the worst rates (this advice does not just apply to Peru, it applies to basically anywhere). If you really need to, change a tiny bit of money at the airport just to pay your taxi driver, and then use an ATM or change house around your first accommodation to get more cash. If you are a serious international traveler, you should consider opening a Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking Account. It sounds a lot more serious than it actually is–the basic gist is that you will pay zero ATM fees worldwide. […]
With that said, bloggers can expect to make a few hundred dollars a month up to tens of thousands. A blogger’s salary completely depends on their niche, their audience, and how skilled they are at promoting either their own products or somebody else’s. For example, while she is certainly at the top of the heap, our good friend Michelle makes about $50,000 a month from blog revenue alone.
